Some of them made me a lot (subjectively) and some of them didn´t. Some of them I liked and some of them I didn´t. They were cool, weird, scary, sweaty, pressured, liberating, stupid. But they all shared something. They all made money. Without further ado, the list:
Sleep Like a Good Kid
Waiter/Bartender
Selling Recyclable Paper
Selling Firecrackers
Selling Weed
Moving Furniture
Teaching Breakdance
Doing Street Dance Shows
Selling Amnesty International Subscriptions
Applied for a Scholarship
Applied for a Government Job-Search Program
Pick up Money from the Floor
Dividends
Work in a Hostel
Dance at Events
Writing Blog Posts
Branding & Marketing
Playing Poker
Teaching Guys how to Talk to Girls
Selling Magic The Gathering Cards
Participate in a Medical Research
Making Videos
Working with Aggressive Children
Working at Summer Therapeutic Camps
Filming
Painting
And Just For Fun, adding a list of things I did to get money, but didn´t get any money:
Selling Virtual Reality Projects
Selling Other People´s Photography Services
Painting Shoes and Trying to Sell them
Cold Calling and Pitching other People´s Team-Coaching Services
Multi-Level Marketing
And then there´s even longer lists of things I did for free or for receiving favors, skills and/or personal pleasure. And the list of the potential ideas that I have currently? Omg, I could write a book with those (the book also being one of them, haha).
The point being, world is your playground, use your imagination. Open your eyes, identify your strengths, and then GO DO SHIT!
Yes, you will find out you suck at some things. You will make mistakes. But you will also gain immense experience and understanding of self. And you´ll be living your life! What are you waiting for?
Any questions and/or comments about above lists, feel free to shoot them 🙂
Peace,
Bostjan
