Alarm rings at 7.30, you wake up. Go piss. Grab caffeine pill, check the scale, vision board, do the bed. Get dressed, put on headphones, and leave the house. It’s 7.40.
As you walk, listen to an audiobook. One where an expert talks about an area of the life you’re currently working on. After about 30-50min of the book on 1.6x speed and 5,000 steps later, you are back in your flat, fully awake, balanced, and ready to take on the world.
This is an iron morning routine that doesn’t fall much short of giving you superpowers. It might seem simple, but there’s lots going on. Walking has been proven to:
#1 Increase your brain blood flow – Guess what, more brain power
#2 Puts your brain into beta waves – This is basically being at your cognitive peak and super engaged
#3 Releases endorphins and helps fighting fatigue, reduces risk of depression etc…
There’s way more. Long story short, walking is great, not just for your emotional and physical health, but also and especially for thinking.
And then fuel that increased cognitive function and brain’s arousal with an audiobook that talks about the area you want to nail.
The result?
Super accelerated and relevant learning.
So when you came back home, not only are you fully awake and in the right state to push out some massive hustle, you’ve also gotten a daily dose of mentoring from somebody who’s done it before.
Try it out for a week, and get your dose of superpowers too.
P.S
Check out my daily IG stories – first one usually starts with a morning walk, has for months. And because you’ve read till the end, here’s a secret – sometimes I don’t do the audiobook but just blast gangsta rap.
